The 1vs1 World Breaking Battles is a state-of-the-art competition for the world’s top Bboys & Bgirls who represent their countries in a battle for prizes and world dominance.

The World Battles are conducted during the week of the World Hip Hop Dance Championship where the world’s best dance crews compete for the world title.

The Ken Swift Award is presented every year to a Bboy or Bgirl in the World Breaking Battles who best personifies the original and authentic style and technique of Breaking.

HOW TO ENTER

1 VS 1 BREAKING

If you are a Bboy or Bgirl, you are eligible.

Bboys or Bgirls from outside the USA who have qualified for the World Battles in their country should enter through the HHI affiliate in their country.

Bboys or Bgirls with no qualifying battles in their country may contact HHI at info@hiphopinternational.com to request a special invitation to participate.

The entry fee for participants in the World Battles is US$35.00 per category (Popping, Locking, Breaking, Whacking and All Styles), which includes all registration costs, free entry to all World Battles, nightly parties, an official championship t-shirt and an invitation to the championship celebration party.

World Battle participants may upgrade their registration to include entrance to all World Hip Hop Dance Championship preliminary, semifinal and final events for an additional US$60.00.

Each World Battles participant must complete an online registration form.

Only one online registration form is needed per participant if entering more than one category.

All entries are subject to space availability.
